Relax, you've got plenty of time. Christmas in Italy means a season of celebrations and not just celebrating one particular day. If you are weary of how commercialized Christmas overwhelms us here in the States, Christmas in Italy is really about the joy of the season rather than a day. The Christmas season in Italy is traditionally celebrated from Christmas Eve through the Epiphany on January 6th with gift giving, sharing special foods and meals with family and friends and enjoying the holiday decorations and festivities.
